About me

My name is Meng Li. I am from Beijing, China. I had been a junior high ESL teacher in Beijing Royal School for four years by the time I came to NCSU to obtain my second master degree in education. I taught Grade 7 to Grade 9 in English Literature and General English. I really enjoyed the time I spent with students. This is an inspiring year to study at NCSU. I have been always thinking about how to apply what I have learned in Chinese classrooms.

Acknowledgement

I feel really grateful to the people who have taught me and helped me during my stay in America. It is all of you that made my day here.

Thank you, Principal Wang of Beijing Royal School, for sponsoring me to study abroad. You realized my dream. I also want to express my gratitude to all the professors who helped me grow as a teacher. They have shed light on what I can do in Chinese education and what kind of teacher I want to be.
